Description

Hi, I have a question. Why does Moore lower to LLHD instead of directly lowering to core/seq? Would it be more convenient to lower to core/seq directly? Thanks!

Research direction

Start by reading the Moore, LLHD, and core/seq lowering documentation and entry points. Trace the existing Moore lowering path and compare its responsibilities with the direct core/seq path. Done would mean documenting the rationale and whether direct lowering is appropriate.
