Description
Currently, [`utils/get-capnp.sh` ](https://github.com/llvm/circt/blob/main/utils/get-capnp.sh) compiles a version of capnp from its git repo. The necessary code addition has presumably been included in the [most recent release](https://capnproto.org/install.html), but this needs to be tested.

Start with utils/get-capnp.sh and compare the git-built Cap'n Proto version with the most recent release described in the issue. Run the ESI/Cosim tests or operability checks available in the repository, and consider the work done when the latest release is verified to work or the incompatibility is documented.
