Research direction

Start in the nemo-terminal extension by tracing how the "Shell to run" field is handled during Nemo launch and when the embedded terminal opens. Change the behavior so the command runs only on terminal opening, or identify the setting needed for an explicit toggle. Description

When I put a command in the "Shell to run" field, it executes immediately when Nemo launches. I expected it to run only when opening the embedded terminal.
Could this behavior be changed so the command runs only when the terminal is actually opened? Or atleast, could a checkbox be added to allow turning this behavior on and off?
