LibGit2Sharp.LibGit2SharpException: request failed with status code: 502

I have a repo that i am trying to push to remote, The repo is about 1.5GB, I am able to push from the terminal. I am able to initialize and push a repo using the following code.
I am thrown the following error LibGit2Sharp.LibGit2SharpException: request failed with status code: 502
