File permissions

I've been trying to create a new file inside the Download folder. With the right permission I'm able to do that but it seems that the file read permission is only allowed for the owner and not accessible when you access that folder from a PC.
Is there a way to set the permission to be readable by everyone when creating the file ?

No source file or test is identified in the issue. Start by reproducing file creation in the Download folder and trace the react-native-fs path used for creating files, checking platform-specific permission behavior. Done means a newly created file in that folder is readable by the intended PC user, with coverage for the affected platform.
