Inizia riproducendo il problema in Xreader 3.2.2 su Linux Mint 20.3: stampa un PDF in un file PDF con Pages per side impostato su 2, quindi esamina l’output alla ricerca di caratteri “n” minuscoli troncati. Traccia il percorso di stampa su file e quello di due pagine per foglio, quindi confronta l’output generato con il testo completo previsto.

Issue

I have a pdf file open. I want to print to a PDF file with two pages per side.
All the lower case 'n' characters in the resultant file are truncated with only the top right portion of the letter being displayed.

See attached screen shot. The text in the screen shot should read "and user interfaces can work"

Steps to reproduce
Open a PDF file.
Select File | Print
In the print dialog's General Tab select "Print to file" and select PDF as the output format.
Then go to the "Page Setup" tab and in "Pages per side" box enter 2 pages per side
Press Print.
Open the resultant output file and look for regular alphabetic text.
See if the letter 'n' is fully formed.

Expected behaviour
All occurences of the letter 'n' should be displayed like all the other chars.
