Description
I have installed Spyder (Python 3.8.5 , IPython 7.17.0 ) via Anaconda and also tried it via WinPython. If i try to execute simply
```python
matplotlib.pyplot as plt
plt.plot([1,2,3])
plt.show()
```
i get no output and the system hangs. Any idea how i can make it run locally on my PC?
