Dataset Title

MISS 2025 Bioacoustics

Describe your dataset and any specific challenges or blockers you have or anticipate.

I am working with passive bioacoustic data from 12 sites at shallow offshore reefs in Mississippi. Fish species are identified when possible by machine learning and have associated metadata such as timestamps for the beginning and end of calls, water quality at sites, and associated reef structure. Abundance counts are unreliable using solely acoustics, and thus I would like help utilizing the dataset to its fullest potential with DarwinCore standards.
Additionally, eDNA surveys were performed at the time of passive acoustic recorder collection. The analyses for this are not yet complete, but I would like to know potential ways to combine these datasets to provide the most information to OBIS.
I have not submitted to OBIS before and am interested in how to best contribute this data.

Info about "raw" Data Files.

The raw data is currently in multiple excel sheets for the 12 different sites, eventually these will be combined. Headers have abiotic features of reefs, water parameters, timestamps, species, present/absent, and coordinates
