Description

Hey,
The issue is similar to the mac related error discussed here: https://github.com/ionic-team/vscode-extension/issues/90

![image](https://github.com/ionic-team/vscode-extension/assets/5901699/c56584b2-c1d0-48fc-bb4e-9f1dee841d19)

The ```/bin/sh: line 1: npm: command not found``` error disappears when I'm change "Shell Path" in ionic plugin settings to this
```bash
PATH=$PATH:/home/sudosu/.nvm/versions/node/v20.9.0/bin /bin/zsh
```
In this case I get a failed state without reason.

Environment:
- OS: Manjaro
- Node version: v20.9.0
- NPM Version: 10.1.0

What can I do to fix this issue?
Thanks in advance!

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in the VS Code Ionic extension on Manjaro with Node.js installed through nvm, using the default Shell Path. Compare the behavior with the related macOS issue at ionic-team/vscode-extension#90; done means npm is found through the configured shell and failures report a reason.
