localForage-CordovaSQLiteDriver maintenance

On your [sqlite-installation](https://github.com/ionic-team/ionic-storage#sqlite-installation) instruction you recommend to use localForage-CordovaSQLiteDriver but it has not been updated from last 4 years.
Some errors begins to appears. For example: https://github.com/thgreasi/localForage-cordovaSQLiteDriver/issues/39

Can we use any other library with a better maintenance?
Should we move to Capacitor Storage?

Start with the linked sqlite-installation instructions and the referenced localForage-CordovaSQLiteDriver issue (#39). Determine whether the documented driver remains supported and whether Capacitor Storage is an acceptable replacement; done means recording a maintainer decision and updating the guidance accordingly.
