ionic-cli development status

I don't mean to sound rude, but is this project dead?

I don't see any major updates or PRs being accepted.

Several internal dependencies are deprecated and have known vulnerabilities, at the very least, they should be kept maintained.

I couldn't find any official statement from the Ionic team or a blog post addressing this. I was hoping the CLI would get some
love with the Ionic Framework v9 release, but that doesn't seem to have happened either the v9 announcement doesn't mention
@ionic/cli at all.

Will we see any updates in the near future?

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Begin by reviewing the CLI project's maintenance and dependency status, then look for an official Ionic statement about its future; done would require a clear documented response about project status and planned updates.
