Description
I'm using HEAD to check the size of a very large url before downloading it, so it's surprising that when there's a 302 redirect, it's followed using GET.

Research direction
Start by locating the redirect-handling path for HTTP 302 responses and how it selects the follow-up method for HEAD requests. Reproduce the behavior with a HEAD request that receives a 302, then verify that the redirect preserves HEAD rather than issuing GET.
