Convenient printing to pdf NOT for slide mode

It would be great to have an appropriate view for printing (without contents and tags) and page format showing\editing.

Now, for a basic tasks like print a 2-page document with page numbering and header middle-aligned, I had to upload it to google drive as an ODT and have sad experience with using WYSWYG editor.

As an alternative (I used it on other PC) I had to keep VirtualBox with pandoc, which I used to print copypasted markdown notes from HackMD with LaTeX fine-tuning.

There must be a better way.

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points; begin by locating HackMD’s print and PDF export flow and reviewing how slide mode is handled. Clarify the required non-slide view, page format, page numbering, and centered headers before defining completion criteria.
