Event page header-photo a different one to the event photo on the front page

The event page has at the moment a photo in the header. The photo the header shows is the same one that is used on the front page as the event ad. However, the shape of the photo on the front page is pretty normal (and the photo is shown in full) but in the event page, the header is roughly 6:1 and so it scales the photo in it to a 6:1 resolution (even though the photo would be eg. 4:3).

So it would be great to have the possibility to upload and use two different photos: one on the front page (event banner which is almost like an ad) and the other photo on the event page. In this way, you could always see the photos nicely and nothing would be cropped out.

Start by tracing how the event photo is uploaded and rendered on the front page and event page. Done means organisers can provide separate photos for the two placements, with the front-page banner and event-page header each displaying its intended image without unwanted cropping.
