What is the current behavior?
It is uncertain if it is safe to use relay with thegraph (actually it isn't safe in most cases).
What is the expected behavior?
It should be possible to make the graphql api compatible with relay: (https://relay.dev/docs/en/graphql-server-specification.html)
A tool like hasura has a setting to make the API relay compatible, for example.
