Description

Hi,

I am having trouble understanding how the forward and backward flows for MOVi-A scenes are rendered. Specifically, I would like to know why flows corresponding to shadows are not generated (see attached gifs). Are the forward and backward flows motion fields and not optical flows?

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by locating the MOVi-A forward and backward flow rendering entry point and compare its treatment of shadows with the attached examples. Done means documenting whether these outputs are motion fields or optical flow and why shadows are excluded.
