Description
### Describe the bug
##Read back / edit what I type in the prompt
**What I need:** As I type in the Copilot prompt, my screen reader must echo the characters I type, and
let me review/correct/edit the input. Today I can't reliably read back what I've typed, so if I mistype
I can't tell, and I can't edit it — which makes composing prompts error‑prone and slow.

### Affected version
_No response_
### Steps to reproduce the behavior
type something the terminal and try to read with left and right arrow keys, characters are either not read or read incorrectly
### Expected behavior
**Expected behavior:**
- Typing `a` → screen reader says "a".
- The input line has proper focus so character echo reaches the screen reader first.
- Standard line‑editing (move by char/word, backspace, review) is fully readable.

Research direction
No implementation file or test is named. Reproduce the issue in the Copilot CLI terminal with a screen reader, then trace the prompt's input and line-editing entry point; done means typed characters, cursor movement, backspace, review, and correction are reliably announced.
