Description

### Describe the bug

1. Mark some text and copy it with right click
2. Go to a another application and copy some text (e.g. IDE)
3. Now a strange "Somebody else owns the clipboard now" message appear at status line and breaks the layout:

I noticed this message sometimes appear at other places as well and then mark some text in the terminal leads to the prompt jumping around / duplicated

Research direction

Start by reproducing the clipboard sequence in the terminal: copy text with the context menu, copy text in another application, then observe the status line and prompt while selecting text. Trace the terminal's clipboard handling and status-line rendering from the observed behavior. Done means the clipboard message no longer breaks the layout or causes the prompt to jump or duplicate.
