Exclusion of specific file extensions

How to exclude some specific extension files to be detected in report.

I was trying to use CodeQL to find security and quality vulnerability in solution and its reporting issues as well (added in azure.yaml file).
But now I want to exclude few files with specific extension.

Start by reviewing the CodeQL configuration referenced in the issue and the azure.yaml file to determine how reported files are selected. Confirm whether excluding specific extensions is supported or needs a new configuration option; done means reports omit files with the requested extensions.
