I think it is related to the worktree functionality. But I'm in a project, I create a new session, and starting the session I would love to read a file to prepare the prompt in a proper way. Today in a new session, even within a git project with local files, there is no way to read files without starting the session (validating the prompt).
It would be good to allow an easy way to browse the repo content, local files of the repos, ... or whatever.

Research direction

Start at the /chat entry point and inspect how new sessions use the existing worktree functionality. Define the repository-browsing and file-reading flow before prompt validation, then verify that a user can inspect local repository files while creating a session without starting it.
