When I have the canvas search open with some text in the search bar.

When I have the canvas search open with some text in the search bar. It does not respect clicking another file in the file tree. It gives precedence to the file which has some search occurence listed

Reproduce the issue in the /chat path with canvas search open and text entered, then select another file in the file tree. Start by tracing how search results and file selection interact; done means selecting another file takes precedence instead of returning to a file with a listed occurrence.
