Would be nice to be able to open a folder to work with copilot and not to go to the closest repository. We have some setups with several repositories under the same folder to work in all at the same time and now is not possible without de CLI

Start by reviewing the desktop app's folder-opening and repository-selection flow, then compare it with the CLI behavior mentioned in the issue. The change is complete when a user can open a folder containing multiple repositories and work with that folder without being sent to the closest repository.
