I don't really like the way PRs and commits are handled.
It would be great if I could select "Commit" or "Commit and Push" and have a popup appear for entering the commit message. I’d like that popup to show a pre-generated commit message that I can edit.

Start in the /chat path and reproduce the Commit and Commit and Push actions on the reported Windows setup. Trace where those actions are handled and how commit messages are currently generated; done means both actions open an editable popup containing the pre-generated message before proceeding.
