Provide an Official Chocolatey Package

Many organizations rely on package managers to deploy, update, and maintain software consistently across their environments. While the GitHub Copilot App is already distributed as an MSI installer for Windows, there is currently no official Chocolatey package available. The application itself is available for multiple operating systems and is positioned as a desktop application for developers and enterprises.

Providing an official Chocolatey package would improve the overall software distribution experience by enabling:

Many organizations have standardized software deployment processes based on package managers. Official support for Chocolatey would align the GitHub Copilot App with common enterprise practices and reduce the need for custom packaging, internal repositories, or community-maintained solutions.

The issue does not name repository files, tests, or release entry points. Start by reviewing how the existing Windows MSI installers are built and published, then determine the Chocolatey package metadata and release integration needed. Done means an official package can install and update the GitHub Copilot App through Chocolatey.
