Cannot reload past sessions after app update

After being prompted to install updated I restart the app. After the restart I can no longer access my past sessions.

The error message is:

Selecting "Retry" or "Restart session" doesn't do anything.

No source file, test, or entry point is identified. Start by reproducing the update-and-restart flow and examining the displayed error when opening a past session; done means past sessions load after an update and both “Retry” and “Restart session” perform the expected recovery.
