please add line numbers in the edited file preview sections, similar to what CLI currently supports, it is very helpful to know the line number where the edit was done by copilot

Start by locating the edited file preview sections in the /chat experience and compare them with the line-number behavior currently supported by the CLI. Done means the preview shows the line number where each Copilot edit was made, including the reported desktop app context.
