Extracting comments from a doc or reading a PowerPoint slide is impossoible in Plan mode and requires swithing out of it. This seems wrong and creates extra friction.

Start at the /chat path and reproduce the reported behavior in Plan mode with a document containing comments and a PowerPoint slide. Compare it with the mode where extraction works, and consider the issue done when both comments and slide content can be read without switching modes.
