Description

I asked copilot about the workflow of merging changes back into the 'main' branch and explained that the process is a bit tedious for an IDE. So my ask is that this be improved and copilot agrees "So yes, your complaint is reasonable: the isolation is useful, but the handoff back to your main branch is clunkier than it should be. A fast “Merge back into base branch” button in the app would make a lot of sense."

Research direction

Start by reviewing the app's /chat workflow and documenting how changes are currently handed back to the main branch. Define the intended merge-back behavior and verify that the completed flow provides a clear way to move changes into the base branch without the reported IDE tedium.
