Description

When the "Repos directory" setting is changed (e.g. from ~/.copilot/repos to ~/repos), existing projects retain their original main_repo_path in the projects table and root_resource_uri in the project_checkouts table. This causes worktree creation to fail for those projects because the app tries to run git worktree add from a main checkout path that no longer exists.

Research direction

Start at the /chat settings flow and trace how changing the Repos directory affects the projects table and project_checkouts table. Inspect how those stored paths are used during git worktree creation; done means existing projects use the new valid checkout location and worktree creation succeeds after the setting changes.
