Description

**Mood:** 😊
**Category:** Bugs

Mostly a great tool but sometimes my sessions will create a file at my request (or not) typically some md file and there is no easy way to open it. sometimes the "Create xxx.md" part is clickable, sometimes not, maybe a bug? When its not I can only expand the preview underneath which is not full width, so not very helpful, and there is no way to even select and copy the path to open it myself. ( I end up having to ask the agent for the path or type it out myself)

Additionally then when I go into the right panel and try to open file, these files are not there and just inputting the name of the file doesnt find it either.

This is basically my only minor complaint with an otherwise very good product and experience, better than many similar tools I have tried for agentic coding management after using it for a few weeks daily.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the behavior from the /chat path on Windows 10 with files created during a session, checking when the “Create xxx.md” link is clickable. Compare the preview and right-panel file-opening flows, including whether entering the filename finds the file. Done means created files can be opened or their paths copied consistently and are discoverable in the right panel.
