Descripción

**Mood:** 😔
**Category:** Requests and ideas

As a developer my workflow is heavily CLI - driven - this is where I work and navigate my fleet of projects.

At the same time I enjoy the ability to see at a glance, across my projects, where copilot is doing the work - a major + for the app.

Now what I'm missing is a simple way to start a session from the commandline:

```
github-copilot -c "In this project, explore ..."
```

What I'd like to see is that:

* Github Copilot sets up the project (from local file system) and starts a new session with the initial prompt
* A notification can drive me to copilot app, to follow progress or futher interact.

Today, copilot is not connected to my efficient CLI workflow / local environment - this is painful.

No files, tests, or entry points are identified in the issue. Start by locating the app's project setup, session-creation, and notification entry points, then determine how a CLI command could connect to them. Done means a command can use a local project and initial prompt to start a session and provide a way to open or follow it in the app.
