Stuck on "Getting tags"

I have a fairly large repo with 41,000 commits, 2,400 tags, and 15,000 total PRs and issues. I ran `gren changelog --generate` for 7 hours overnight and it never moved past the "Getting tags" state.


This is my `.grenrc.json` file:

I added `"limit": 1` to try to fix this issue and that didn't seem to work.

I'm using gren version 0.17.1. The command I'm running is `gren changelog --generate`.

Start by reproducing `gren changelog --generate` with the shown `.grenrc.json`, `limit: 1`, and a repository with many commits and tags. Inspect the command's progress around the “Getting tags” state and compare behavior with gren 0.17.1. Done means tag retrieval completes or produces an actionable error instead of hanging indefinitely.
