Descripción
Hi GReN team,
I have a question/proposition for enhancement:
Will there be any way to create release notes from release data-source and issues that are tagged by certain release?
I mean I couldn't find any tool on the internet that would do that. And note that a lot of projects are releasing when release period ends and it might be even in the middle of milestone or multiple times per milestone. We are using this tool on our project and it is great, but we always have to create new commit (version dump commit that contains no changes) after we close all issues that will be released, so they would be included in the release notes because the last commit tagged with version, will ends when the issue was finished, not closed. Which is, in my opinion, a hacky way to do release notes.
I love this project, by the way, wouldn't change it for anything right now  ...
Guía de contribución
Línea de trabajo
The request concerns generating release notes from GitHub release data and issues tagged for a release instead of relying on milestones or pull requests. First review the existing release-note inputs and how tags, issues, and milestones are handled. Done means releases can include issues closed after the latest tagged commit without requiring a no-op version commit.
