Error generating maps for the FlaskBB project

Following the instructions on https://github.com/flaskbb/flaskbb/ and on https://github.com/flaskbb/flaskbb/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md, I get the FlaskBB system set up. Running py.test shows all tests passing 100% clean. Then Installed appmap agent, which went fine.

Then when I re-ran the tests with APPMAP=true, it failed with:

AttributeError: module 'flask.cli' has no attribute 'call_factory'

I am using Python 3.10.4 and verified the same issue with 3.9.12 too.

I was able to get past the error by pinning the app to use an older version of Flask (2.0.1), but a variety of the tests still failed.
