Description

I targetted a website that has a login persistent functions and it works perfectly fine in the mobile and desktop browser. And then I tried also running the app in Android Oreo version and the login persistent works fine but in android pie it seems that cache is not working that causes the login doesn't persist.

Any workaround for this?

Research direction

Start by reproducing the persistent-login behavior with the plugin on Android Pie and compare it with Android Oreo, using the reported website and login flow. Done means the login remains persisted on Android Pie as it does on the other reported platforms; the issue does not name a file or test to inspect.
