Query String Parameters in URL on IOS not working

I am developing a new app (and new to flutter) and using this plugin, I can't seem to correctly load the urls after a setState which generates some url parameters for the page

The URL parameters are loading fine on my S9 Plus, but on my iPhone SE ios 10.3.2 they fail to simply load with very less detail on the error stack

There seems to be a fix available in a recent commit https://github.com/fluttercommunity/flutter_webview_plugin/pull/257 by nhojjava but I am not sure how to get this fix for my project, can this fix be applied please or some guidance on how I can get to use the fix from pull request 257
