Repro steps:
Download
https://github.com/flutter/flutter/files/8694561/iphone_devtools_output.json.zip or
https://github.com/flutter/flutter/files/8694563/pixel_devtools-output.json.zip
and run with Devtools `2.14.0`
On Mac, loading fails without a message in Chrome DevTools console. On Linux, everything works.
@Hixie: when i load this on the mac devtools and then click the load button, it just says it's loading events and then stops doing anything. "Processing timeline trace" then nothing
