My first installed and used flatpak app. I tried to setup it for go development with calling exiftool from within the code.

First problem: Go command is not found.
Solved by adding --env=PATH=/app/bin:/usr/bin:/run/host/usr/lib/golang/bin in /var/lib/flatpak/app/com.visualstudio.code/current/active/export/share/applications/com.visualstudio.code.desktop
Not sure if it is a good solution of if there is any recommended way how to solve this. Anyway, in my opinion there is not enough documentation available.

Next problem: 'exiftool somefile.mp4' failed with Can't locate Image/ExifTool.pm in @INC
So probably something wrong with perl configuration.

Ok, I have given up at this point. I like the flatpak concept but would definitely appreciate more information on how to solve such issues. Thank you for all your effort put into improving this product.

Start by reviewing the Flatpak desktop entry at /var/lib/flatpak/app/com.visualstudio.code/current/active/export/share/applications/com.visualstudio.code.desktop and the reported Go and ExifTool failures.
