Flatpak extentions do not work on Stable branch

As of this writing, the latest version of VS Code only looks for extensions with the version '25.08'. Therefore, you must install an extension with that same version for it to work. You need to keep an eye on any version changes for VS Code itself and then update your extensions accordingly when possible.

Should we put `stable` here?

Inspect com.visualstudio.code.yaml at the referenced line and compare the stable branch setting with the VS Code extension version requirement described in the issue. Verify the podman-remote extension on the stable branch after any manifest change, and confirm that extensions with the expected version are discovered.
