flatpak-spawn --host freezes integrated terminal when zsh is default shell

When my default shell is set as zsh, any attempt to use the integrated terminal freezes when passing the shell arg flatpak-spawn --host. This includes running tasks.

This does not occur once I change my default shell to bash.

Reproduce the freeze in the integrated terminal with zsh as the default shell and flatpak-spawn --host, including task execution, then compare the same cases with bash. Identify the affected shell invocation or terminal path; done means zsh no longer freezes the terminal or tasks when launched through flatpak-spawn --host.
