Can I tell node-couchdb to lookup my couch on a different root?

I'm using my couchdb as a couchapp and have some rewrite rules in my vhost so that like `/api` actually points to `/mycouchdb` and `/api/root` -> `/`.
Does `node-couchdb` require the root of couchdb to be at `/`, or can I overwrite this?
