Getting started `npx epiccli new <project-name>` command fails

Looking to kick off a new epic stack project and getting stuck at the start.

I made sure to set the node version to that spec'd in the "engines" of the package.json

Start by reproducing the exact `npx epicli new bmt-epic-1` command with the Node version from `package.json`, then inspect the `new` command that invokes `create-remix@2.16.8`. Determine why dependency installation exits without useful stderr; done means the command creates the project and installs its dependencies successfully.
