GitHub Gist as a service

It's nice to be able to share to a pastebin service from within the editor/IDE. Unfortunately, pastebin.com isn't that much in use anymore (at least not in my circles) and its use is even being discouraged by some projects nowadays. One alternative is GitHub's Gist service, which I've not seen any objections to so far. It would be cool if the Pastebin plugin could at some point add support for that :-)
