Description
When I view this repo/project (while logged-in to GH) I see the following warning:

"We found a potential security vulnerability in one of your dependencies.
A dependency defined in assets/package-lock.json has known security vulnerabilities and should be updated."
While this project is not written in JavaScript it still uses JS ...
we either need to have a process for updating the "vulnerable" JS 🔢
or (my preference) eliminate JS from the project. 🔪

Research direction
Start by inspecting assets/package-lock.json and the dependency warning shown on the issue. Confirm which dependency is vulnerable and whether the intended resolution is updating it or removing JavaScript; done means the chosen approach is documented and the warning no longer appears.
