Hi, this is just to let you know that apache httpd 2.2.16 supports the [FallbackResource directive](https://httpd.apache.org/docs/trunk/en/mod/mod_dir.html#fallbackresource), so instead of requiring and enabling mod_rewrite, all that is needed is mod_dir, so:
FallbackResource /index.php
