Not only is e^(pi i) = -1, but e to the power of any odd number multiplied by pi i, also. Saying "log(-1)" can mean any of those. The "principal logarithm" (similar to principal square root in that
context) refers to the official one accepted form for complex analysis, which, in this case, is simply "pi i." The principal logarithm is written with the word "Log," with a capital L. JAWS renders both as "log," but students need to know the difference in order to know what to write down in assignments.
Expected: MathCAT pronunciation that screen readers can use to pronounce "Log" differently from "log."

Start with Definition 5.2.2 at the linked Complex Analysis page and trace MathCAT's pronunciation handling for lowercase "log" and uppercase "Log". Done means screen readers can audibly distinguish the general logarithm from the principal logarithm, with the behavior checked using the reported example.
