Description
There is no subject autoname option present on the Subject admin>Add subject page. Animal identifier fields are "nickname" and earmark". Leaving the nickname as "-", as done on respective fields in the Add litters and Add Breeding pairs pages results in a subject created with the nickname that is simply "-".
Nickname note prompts users to provide an easy to remember name (Hercules), however, it seems necessary to also have an option to generate a name that follows a consistent naming convention (as shown under the Nickname column in the screenshot provided in issue #133). Can the nickname field be as for something easy to remember and a new field be added for a unique subject identifier?
The autoname index does appear to be working in some way. If the line information is opened, the field "Subject autoname index" does reflect the total number of subjects attributed to the line, and this count increases with the addition of a subject.
