Cron check for infrastructure

It might be good to have some "standard" environments we build via a cron job on a CI. This way we can check the health of our ecosystem live. This provides some more security when we make changes, and can help inform the decision making process.

For instance in our discussion of pre/rc releases it may be helpful to have a few environments which make use of this feature to check that they work the way we expect.
