In reference to issue #29 (find a bug / suggest a feature)
links in footer & navbar disappear, i.e. background and links are now of the same colour, when hovered over.
e.g.
They shouldn't be of the same colour.
A differentiating property like a different colour than the background or text shadow is suggested to fix the bug.

Inspect the footer and navbar markup and styles, then reproduce the hover state shown in the attached screenshots. Update the relevant hover styling so links remain distinguishable from their background, and verify that both footer and navbar links have sufficient contrast when hovered.
