Confusion between project and non-project usage

The plugin allows to have per-project formatting settings, but if it does and you change the "Plugin Preferences" general formatting settings, it confusingly doesn't apply them for the open project. Also if you disable code-format for a project but have "global" formatting settings, they will somewhat confusingly apply even though it was just de-activated.

Need to review how the logic for this stuff goes.
